How DinerMagic helped save Bob's career as a food service sales rep.



 

This is the story of Bob, a Global Food Services Sales Rep.  Bob was a natural salesman and he received many Top Sales Rep of the Month awards.  But when the economy slowed, so did his sales.

 

As 2009 drew to a close, the economy was still bad, and instead of customary bonus checks, his company was handing out pink slips. 

 

 

 

 

Some of the restaurants that Bob serviced were closing their doors for the holidays.  Others were closing their doors for good.

 

During the spring of 2010, several of his key accounts began switching to lower-cost distributors.  Unfortunately for Bob, Global Food Services was struggling to stay competitive.
