I am not computer literate and delegated DinerMagic tasks to my wait person.  Can we work on it together?

 

Yes! That is another reason why we designed DinerMagic to be web-based.  We understand that, while many restaurant owners and chefs are experts in many aspects of the restaurant business, it may not necessarily include computers or the Internet.  And by the way, whomever you delegate DinerMagic tasks to, need not be an expert with PCs either.  All they need is a very basic knowledge of how to use a computer and how to get online with the Internet.  They don't need to be an expert, only an operator.

 

And you certainly can work on both your DinerMagic website and menus at the same time - and even on different computers in different locations.  For example, at a designated time, you can both be visiting  the www.dinermagic.com website, while your expert wait person is logged into the Admin Panel and making the actual edits/changes/updates, while you the restaurant owner/chef/manager are watching in real time, supervising the changes being made.  You both can instantly see the changes as they are made. 

 

If you have purchased DinerMagic through a reseller, possibly your food service provider, you can do the same thing with your food service sales rep. 

 

When you collaborate with your designated computer operator, your website and menu changes will be exactly as you specify.  There won't be any surprises and disappointments, as often occurs when you oursource to third-party website or menu designers.  And you can tweak it as often as you want, without the penalty of paying for every edit and waiting weeks before you see the results.
