Why have many restaurants not gone online with a website yet?


There are several reasons why many restaurants do not have a website yet.


1. High cost to design.  Some of our customers were recently quoted between $1500 and $6000 and more for a restaurant website.


2. High cost to make changes.  Website designers love to charge you a lot of your hard-earned money to make even a simple change to your website.  Why pay them when you can do it yourself at no extra cost?


3. Long turnaround time to design and to make changes.  Why wait for your web designer to get around to editing your website.  Why not do it yourself whenever you want?


4. Inability of restaurant owner/manager to fine-tune their menu when needed.  Because restaurant owners/managers have grown accustomed to compiling all of their changes to be made during their annual or semi-annual menu update, they live with a less-than-perfect menu for 6-months or more before they can finally have their changes made.  Why wait?  If you think about it, there are many reasons why you will want to update your menu on a weekly basis--if you had the ability and affordability to do so.
